Very interesting! However, don't' think "rivalry" is an important factor in segregating privates (6 team districts) from public's if they're all playing under a single body that is the IHSA. Same goes for CPS schools. Either all included playing by the same rules or leave it alone.
cmdynasty...with the additions of the Thornton schools next year to the Southland I'm assuming each school will drop the non conference games from 4 to 1...is that correct? Believe that would hurt C-M in preparation. Thoughts?
Lovie aint going anywhere so its moot. Year 3 of the rebuild. Next year will be the 1st strictly with his recruits. Also, remember he jettisoned a lot of talented players that would have helped the Illini win a couple more games. Instead he opted to establish a no-nonsense culture (credibility)...
A game of "BIG PLAYS" on both sides. Especially, in the 4h quarter. Richards up by 2 scores with less than 2 min. CM scored...recovered the onside kick with 58 sec and scored the winning drive. Exciting game!
Not sure about the other teams...but after watching LWE against my Warriors Friday night they would have easily went "toe to toe" with the Pickering team. From what I saw Friday from LWE vs seeing LWE last year this years team may be slightly better & deeper at every position! Definitely more...
