A point that is brought up often on here is how a player is better off to work on their deficiencies in the NBA where practice time is unlimited. The premise is; why return to college to work on your game (and have to go to class and are restricted on practice time etc) when you can get paid to...
Absolutely must have Briscoe back. Must have some core players return to go along with superstar recruiting class. All those saying "we don't need them, we'll be fine" are out of your damn minds.
I guess we should just shut down the site then if the qualifications for giving your opinion are you had to have coached at a college basketball blueblood program. God you're dumb
I agree with this and it's hard to believe he could out-do all the talent he's already brought in. I loved the towns/Ulis etc class because it was a class that top to bottom had guys who could make shots. They could ALL shoot. But this class, if they add Bolden, is even more talented. I...
Cal has definitely yet again assembled a talented roster. Don't think anyone is going to dispute that. These incoming freshmen are the very best of the best and this is no doubt a super class. This team will definitely have all the talent needed to make a deep run.
I'm just not buying 6'10" at the 3 position. The wind needs to be able to shoot. I'm tired of trying to mold true power forwards/centers into the small forward position. I just don't think it works but we will see.
Cameron Mills was horrendous on defense, absolutely terrible. Yet without him we don't get number 7 in 1998. Tubby put him in to do his job, which was knock down the three.
That was always the knock on Wiltjer was that despite being a viable threat from three, he couldn't defend well enough to warrant playing time. Kid transfers to Gonzaga and is considered one of the best players in the country.
I think the argument that these great shooters can't defend...
Would take him in a heart beat. Would he be a star? No, not at all. But he's a shooter that has been through 4 years of college basketball. That's 4 years of experience in all things basketball and college. Obviously not a player that can take over a game, but would be a great "team" get...
You might be the only one on the board that shares my opinions and sees what I see. This incoming class is very talented and I'm excited about them. But what would be really exciting is to think that maybe 3-4 of them would stick around for 2+ seasons.
Raw talent is great when you know you...
