    OT: Manchester England

Yeah this was my observation as well. Better to spend most of your time in London or pick some villages around the country to stay in, then take the train up on matchday or the day before. And as always Come on you Spurs!

    Season Ticket... Who's out?

It would probably be much cheaper to go this route as well. Maybe not have a familiar seat each game but will definitely save money.

    OT: Manchester England

Safe city but small and pretty boring honestly. When people visit the UK Manchester usually isn't towards the top of the list unless they're going for the football.

    OT: Manchester England

I lived in London, had to travel to Manchester for work quite often. It's fine but very small. If you're a fan of the English game (I'm assuming you are) you should check out the National Football Museum. Any English pub will do, I absolutely love their pub culture over any bar we have here. I...

OT: Who makes the BEST Pizza You’ve ever had?

I've been fortunate to have a lot of good pizza in my life but for me 50 Kalo in Napoli is by far the best I've ever had.

Bunch of Iowa Guys in the Portal

    OT: Jets tickets in London

I was at the last Jets game in London while I was living there. It looks like tickets are sold out and I wouldn't trust stubhub or other third market ticket exchanges because they're not backed up in the UK. Easy to scam people. Best shot is to keep checking the ticket exchange on the official...

    OT: Chicago/Milwaukee

I was just there this weekend for the Yankees series. Stayed in Chicago with some friends. Nice ballpark, cheap tickets in Milwaukee. I'd suggest paying for general parking in advance it'll be $15 and easy no hassle to get out. As for things to do in Milwaukee I don't have suggestions we drove...

    RAC renovation plans are garbage

I always thought the plot of land next to the train station, RWJ Fitness & Wellness center, and the Middlesex County administration building would've been the perfect location for a downtown arena. Obviously it's too late now with Nokia Bell Labs building at that location.

OT: US & International Soccer matches, anyone going?

I've been to all except St James' Park. Great grounds and all worth visiting, even if you just go for a tour of the stadium which I found that most clubs offer a very informative tour. I would consider going to The Valley as well home of Charleton Athletic, one of my favorites and I lived close...

OT: US & International Soccer matches, anyone going?

If you could get tickets you'd get then for a lot less than $150/each as well. If you ever have the opportunity I'd highly recommend going to a match in England. It's an experience that is worth it even for the lower levels where the passion from the fans is still ever present.

OT: US & International Soccer matches, anyone going?

I agree, next couple years will be great for soccer in the US, international and club teams coming over
