    Nothing soft about those teams “out west”. They play as challenging of a schedule as the CCL and have brought home a lot of hardware over the years. But after Batavia’s shenanigans the last 5 years, I couldn’t be more happy that Rita beat them the way they did yesterday.

    Completely different Rita team this time around. I knew Rita would be a tough out in the playoffs, but that turnaround by Hopkins and staff makes him worthy of COY. It’s like they played two separate seasons. Congratulations Mustangs! Should be a great game on Saturday.

    Very flat. BR looked like last years team and Wolfpack showed up looking like everyone thought they were supposed to be this season. BR has been rolling since MC loss, so a down night no reason to panic. Better this week than next. Hopefully a wake up call. Credit where it’s due as well...

    Guess that’s good news. Just hope he’s 100 percent in two weeks. Have to agree that he may have helped possibly keep a score off the board. After he went down, that’s when the MC offense started shredding the D for stretches of the game.

    I really don’t know. I think BR is as solid as they were Lausch’s senior year. Granted, he was hurt against Wheaton North, but even if he was 💯, I don’t know that BR would have beat them. Those West Suburban teams are tough like that in my eyes.
