    I think they were both 3A then. After that, it seems the were in different classifications every year. I am not sure why they didn't schedule OOC games. It would have been a full house and a quality game for each for most years.

    A rematch of the 1983 State Championship game. ER won with Alan Hooker, Hendon's father, owning the night. Back then, games were played at one of the schools. This one was at ER.

    In my opinion, that's the game plan at least half the teams in the state should be using. It takes talent, depth, and quality assistants to run the systems that a lot of schools without talent, depth, and quality assistants try to run.

    I am not surprised. Versus R, those kids went to elementary and middle school together and they are 4 to 4 miles apart. MT kids know nothing about DC and open enrollment has destroyed community ties to schools.

    Tabor had a nice amount of students attend the R game at Reagan. Big difference between 4 miles and 25 so I don't know if it will carry over. I hope they go. Seems like this will be a great game
