    I look at it from the standpoint of an AD. Why stay in the region where you know Varina and Huguenot are standing in your way every year or you can go to 3A where there wouldn't be as much of a gauntlet.

    Generally I would agree with you on that stance. That said, some schools like those in the city will be at a disadvantage. Where would Armstrong and Thomas Jefferson be if not allowed to schedule teams outside their district? I would love to see a school like Richmond (formerly George Wythe)...

    You can find them on the VHSL site. There is an appeals process that should be settled by end of the month. I'll post once the final alignment is released.

    Next years alignment changes should change that. VHSL released recommended alignments a week or so ago but now they will hear appeals. By end of month we will have a better picture of who is moving up and down in class.

    Multiple sources have confirmed to me that it is factual. Initial thought is as good as Varina is and will be... tough order to go back-to-back weeks to the 757 and hope to come out with one let alone two wins.
