You dont think Raiola improved under Thomas at all? He was not where any of us wanted but I think he improved from year 1 to 2. Things like holding onto the ball to long had to be a Dylan thing any qb coach would teach to throw it away vs taking a sack.

Statistically his D at SDSU is very close to what Vince did at Toledo this year. Toledo did not play against any good offenses. Im curious as to how SDSU opponents offenses compare to Toledos.
I cant say what his plan is but hopefully he hires a great DC which then attracts some good portal players and that DC + new/old position coaches develop what is already there better than previous staff.
I think Butler has proven to be a good secondary coach but I dont know what to think of him at DC. Im not sure how to judge play calling having to deal with such a young and undersized d line. If MR was to replace him it has to be a home run hire like Ekeler.
