    but it’s Michigan’s 1st undisputed title since 1948. Nebraska shared the title in 1997 and has 3 undisputed titles since 1970.

    Not a thing except for some poetic justice for Husker fans who had to suffer another bitter pill since the 71 champs. In hindsight it gave Nebraska the added motivation to win 3 of the next 4 national championships.

    It turned out just the way I thought it would with Texas 3 and Bama 4. Hard to be sympathetic with Florida State the way they benefited from the terrible officiating in the 1993 national championship game against Nebraska. Bobby Bowden even said in a letter to Osborne you beat us every way...
