    He has the pedigree and has been well coached. Allow him time to grow and learn the college game and he will be fine as a junior (possibly sooner). I think it's unfair to expect these kids to come in and be spectacular their freshman season. Personally, I hope he eventually becomes a Cat.

    It doesn't take a coaching genius to just play your best players the majority of the game. The best may not be 5 star recruits at the moment. The TEAM deserves the oportunity to expereince success by going with the players that are being productive, thus giving you the best shot at winning...

    Defense is absolutely vital to the overall success of a team, but you still have to score more than your opponent to win. It just seems like in recent years Cal's teams lack offensive execution and continuity.
