    Iowa-Nebraska

Totally disagree….Oregon has had ups and downs, Washington has had even more. It’s been years since UCLA was a consistent juggernaut, like the early 80s and USC, sans Pete Carrol is only marginally better. Lincoln Riley is the Kirk Ferentz of offense. Why in the hell are people so terrified...

    Iowa-Nebraska

Yes, they are extremely caught up in recruiting rankings. Certain they have more talent than Iowa (not all, but many) even though Iowa, and in connection, Wisconsin, both have **** tons, more players in the NFL than they do. Something like 30 to 17. That is some serious coaching, turning, no...

    Quick question on AAU…

it’s not funded by government research dollars, through the Big 10 and AAU?

Basketball PREVIEW/LIVE THREAD: Rutgers Hoops vs. Notre Dame

Make it happen fellas, make yourselves proud… I’d throw in the big 10 proud, which is my interest, but with that said screw that do it for yourselves!!! Like of course you really have any say in the matter 😂

Im behind all of this as it is stated, but I think the key to that is it all “averages out“… With that said the bottom part I can’t emphatically agree enough about and I know that’s redundant but still! I enjoyed that game last night..but honestly it was sloppy in all regards. The teams...

absolutely and I’ve read this board a little bit the last few days so when I say this I’m not yanking your chain. But have to tell you I don’t complain about officiating. I figure if you’re gonna win the game you’re gonna win the game. I pretty much never put much onus on officiating it is what...

I suppose, but all ******** aside I think over the years we would’ve all loved to have poor fouls or penalties reviewed and overturned if it benefited us…?! And for all intents and purposes just like with the Murray elbow to Harper, at first blush those swinging elbows always look like Fouls...

Just Another Day, Nothing to Freak Out About or Anything (5:55pm UPDATE)

Good question, it all starts with “is” the Big12, much like the Big Ten, really as good as they say? If it is then they are certainly a tough out… However they aren’t particularly big in size & until this last Purdue game, Iowa had struggled a little with big intimidating size… I also believe...

Meh….not a horrendous foul considering how physical that game was, so no, it’s not a foul until the review and I’m just applying cognitive thinking here but… Im beginning to think they can’t just go “side out” and no foul. And a jump ball wouldn’t be right either?

Just watched IU vs ND - condensed game

Thats of course assuming the BIG really is that good, my and your team included.

I agree with this…the complete “Foul” reversal is strange. But it is probably a difficult thing to handle without “punishing” someone. In my mind no foul give the ball to Iowa out of bounds. But they'd likely go “jump” ball and that isn’t right either. The cold harsh reality is this, if it’s a...

No I don’t think so, but I have seen this scenario at least 5 times in different games and 3 in the last 10 days.
