He wanted to be there but the timing didn’t work out so he ended up at LT and has done well. WWS has had good talent the last few years but same issues pop up every year. Even tonight they were up 9-0 and firmly in control then the self inflicted wounds took over and they were done.
1996 opening game we played at Glenbard West in mid afternoon it was 90 degrees and humid, 2 kids total between the teams got cramps, today that would be 3.5 hour game with all the stoppages for cramps.
Last night was mild and 75 degrees yet game after game was delayed by players cramping up constantly. I personally blame the lack of doubles guys aren’t in playing shape in week 1 and fatigue cause cramps.
Naperville Central @ WWS will be a good game, it was one of the best rivalry games in West burbs and after playing for nearly 100 years straight they will meet up for the first time in 10 years on Friday.
It insane the football season hasn't started, and freshman have played zero games ever, but you already have kids talking about transferring at semester or the end of the school year.
Sometimes even morons are right. To many of the problems that are going on is due to lack of oversight from the IHSA and school administrations so there is an uneven playing field. If you want to win bad enough rules are seen as optional.
If MC are violating the rules that everyone else is playing by why you would you say Antioch is unlikeable one for pointing it out?
Is MC short on talent this year so they need the extra practice to put a competitive team on the field? You can hate Antioch all you want but they aren't the one...
