    I think the door is still open a crack, but I think odds are against us. Last night would have been huge. We needed one of those last two three attempts to fall but aside from Williams and Hoiberg the team was ice cold.

    If you weigh entire careers as a Husker, definitely not. But if you look at individual seasons, his scoring is fairly elite this season.

    As hard as it is to win on the road, I expect our staff to be able to avoid such a giant collapse. We looked like we were running away with it.

    I get that, but we supposedly pride ourselves on defense, right? We can’t hold that big of a lead? What was the plan to counter Iowa’s run? What was the plan for overtime? Watching us sometimes this season it feels like Brice Williams is the only guy on the team with the fire and heart to go...

    The defensive stands we made repeatedly in one game were incredible. I was mad about bad coaching elsewhere and there were huge positives today.

    For a defensive coordinator debut, that was pretty awesome. Their final point total was mostly indirectly or directly related to the disaster of special teams.
