I like Mo and hate losing him. But with that said is it worth giving him a large amount of cash when he appears he will be missing time to start the season. The resources may be better spent on bringing someone else in who is fully healthy.
IIRC I believe Sanders had one more year of eligibility for college ball. Is it possible he can return for one more year to CU? Not sure how that works. At this point he may make more in NIL next season in college than he would as a mid round draft pick.
With the transfer portal and nil I don't think you can build a program over two to three years with the same lids staying put and commiting for the long haul. I think you have to basically start from scratch each off season.
So far the the three teams who had the bye have all gotten out of the gate slowly. We will see how UGA comes out tomorrow night but a long layoff may not be an advantage in this format. I would rather see the committee go to 16 and no byes.
I know it's early but I had argued Indiana and smu did not belong in the playoff based on who they played. Indiana looks like its midnight at the Cinderella ball. We will see about smu. I was rooting for Indiana and I will be rooting for smu but IMHO they are not 2 of the best 1e teams in the...
The real drawback to the rate bowl is the date. If that bowl was the 28th or later I think Phoenix is a better destination than Charlotte.
The timeout still burns but what's done is done. Rutgers always seems to find new and interesting ways to lose.
Looking forward to the byu Colorado game. However not sure if sanders and hinter will play. Had a nice winning streak betting on byu this season so hope there is some value there. I would think if sanders and hunter play Colorado will be favored.
