    Looks like the bracket sets up tough for the Cats. First round game is against Duke in Chapel Hill, which is more or less a road game. If they should advance, they'd (almost certainly) get the #1 overall seed UNC, which is hosting the regional. Still, they have survived a lot of close games...

    Interesting. Nothing has been announced, and she's not pictured in any of the photos from the season's first practice. Anything else would just be speculation, so we'll have to see if she's on the bench or if the roster gets updated as the season begins next month.

    It wasn't played on a neutral field, it was at home on the lake. It did FEEL a bit like a neutral site, with large helping of ND fans in attendance. I'm not sure why they put it that way at the top of the schedule page. Still, it was just a good ol' exhibition before the regular season...

    The 2-2 tie against ND was an exhibition, so it's not part of their overall record. Still, I'm looking forward to this team, and will try to get out to the home opener tomorrow night against UIC.

    I would like to see the refs be a little less stingy with yellow cards for fouls that are obviously just time wasters, repeated fouling, or when players are out of control or use excessive force. Maybe that would deter some of the fouls away from net. However, one of the things I love about...
