    My only question about transfers is does the new school compensate the old school for the investment afforded the athlete in coaching and benefits....the old school expected to have 3-4 years of playing in return for said investment.

    You are absolutely correct....CJF was a finesse coach in a physical conference....and people were surprised he was 1-14 against top schools. Bigger problem then was he refused to adapt and consider he might need to change...he simply remained headstrong and stubborn.

    50 years ago I lived in Henderson Hall @ Georgia Tech....my neighbors were Drew Hill (Rams & Falcons) and Eddie Lee Ivery (Packers).....they had the big corner rooms. All the incoming freshmen were placed in similar rooms throughout the university. My out of state tuition plus room and board...

    Personally I would rather have non-Alumni fans cheering for PSU than the current Alumni that spew venom and angst against Penn State. I agree the PSU BOT deserves every criticism thrown their way....but to disparage the entire school due to their rubber stamping and follow the leader lemmings...

    Personally I would place Iowa ahead of USC.....yes the disgraceful booing of their fans for our injured players and the double down of Ferentz, saying he was positive we were faking is pathetic. Ferentz has the most B1G wins due to years of playing poor teams from the West division.

    Yippee we beat Iowa! I honestly want Rhoades to succeed....but not sure what PK will do after such a disappointing season. Hopefully he decides to support MBB with additional resources. Fans attended during past seasons with some success....a winning team would supply nice revenue.
