    UNC Outlasts Maryland to Advance to Sweet 16

    Great team victory. Everyone played their hearts out. Frese made a big adjustment at the half with the 3/4 court trap/press that let them come back. But the ladies stayed the course after giving up the lead. Super job all around.

    We definitely need to use this opportunity as a building block for the future. Play hard and get to the sweet sixteen, then recruit some great athletes. That's what we need to get to the next level, IMO. It's what separates us from the top teams.

    Love seeing Hargett come out firing on all cylinders. I think he has to be the LF. Gives us options at the very least. And I think Lynch is only going to get better as he hones in his pitches in real competition. That's what he did last year , IMO.

    Sawyer Black in LF? French is a great OF but not so great at the plate. I thought rotating Hynek & Winslow at DH & C was a pretty good idea but not so sure after the weekend.
