    The real difference is bonus points at this point. After Thursday morning, both programs were 10-0 but PSU was up close to 15 on us due to bonus. They go for the kill EVERY match. DT is working on that mentality. But if you want to win it all as a team, it is going to take bonus points to do it.

    You are correct, he argued about neutral or top for so long, the ref threatened a stall. He needs to let David coach him. You can tell by the way David acts around Dee that he truly thinks Dee can be special. Dee just needs to trust the process and wrestle. Stop with trying to be flashy...

    There is a wildcard at those weights and several seeded guys didn’t place so they called for 9th matches.

    But you lose the advancement points for that match which in a close tournament could cost you a championship. If we got 9 first round byes, that costs us a minimum of 9 team points and a maximum of 27 if all 9 were pins. I would hate to lose the team title because we got 9 first round byes.

    Wrong Mammen in IL. Kirk's kids both graduated from Edmond Memorial. Neither wrestled much - 1 due to injury and the other was better at football and went to Air Force Academy.

    Don't think there is testing during season but there is testing at every NCAA championship. Typically random testing but all athletes are eligible for selection.

    Not wise probably but could be fun to let him go in unseeded and just blow the bracket to pieces by sending seeded guys to consolations way early and then some not making AA which could greatly affect team score.
