From what I also heard, he wanted to retire at the end of last season and he wanted Gard to be named head coach, but the AD didn't want to do that, so Bo decided to leave now so they had to give Gard a shot.
I know Amile is a team first player, but would his playing time decrease if he came back next year with the class we have coming in? And imagine if we added Bolden.
Amile, Giles, Jeter, Bolden is a pretty good 4/5 group though.
He's 19. He'll learn.
Better than an NBA player kicking a homeless person for no reason. I'll leave out which program that player went to, but since their fans are obsessed with Duke, I'm sure they'll find this post.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Willis transfer after this season.
I am surprised Fox and Monk committed this early. I would've expected them to wait to see who leaves for the draft and who stays.
I have no doubt that this entire ordeal was funded by the coaching staff. I also have no doubt that the coaching staff had no idea this was going on.
If you don't get what I'm saying, go read Rob Dauster's article on the situation.
That's where I disagree with your notion that Delly has no business being in the NBA. It's not all about skill.
My point about Quinn being 5'11 is just a reference that his height works against him, along with other factors such as the fact that he doesn't do anything to stand out.
I gotta disagree with you on that. Plus if that's your stance, then the same could apply to Quinn, as he's 5'11 and doesn't do anything that stands out.
So why no disdain for the college coaches that actually coach the youth teams and the players they're recruiting? Why no controversy when Cal coached the Dominican team and denied a spot to Villanueva for Towns; saying that Villanueva was out of shape which turned out to not be true? Just curious.
Funny how they complain about Coach K coaching the national team, but they ignore the fact that a bunch of other college coaches actually coach the high school players, and technically have more access to them than he does. They also ignore the fact that Cal gave Towns a spot over an NBA player...
