    In theory, Perry could still return

    He got abused on defense almost every time down the court. Teams altered their offense the second he came in the game. Oats was salivating like Pavlov’s dogs when he would be in the game and screamed “seal” every possession he was in.

    It would have been best if Sheppard redshirted as a raw freshman. We would have then had him in both ‘97 and ‘98. Probably would have had a three peat.

    It is funny how things become myth. The partial tear, which isn’t even true, somehow now means he will be back sooner and even better than before!

    Ugo was worse under Tang and Bradshaw was no better at OSU. Now it sure would have been nice to see Reed and Rob under a different coach. I’m not sure they would have been better, but they sure as hell would have started and played more minutes.

    BG - yikes?

    In the old days I would definitely want BG to stay. Today when you can go out and replace him with a better player immediately, I couldn’t care less. He is still a project that we are hoping will develop.

    Since we had DJ/Edwards/Bradshaw/Rob coming in. If I had known Reed was going to be the first college player drafted instead of a 4 year player it would have been beyond excited.

    Mgbako played in the second toughest conference in basketball and was ROY and nobody wants him. Alvaro played 3 regular season games against P5 teams in his two years and scored 5 points in those games. I’ll take the guy who scored 12.2 in the Big10 with a terrible coach.

    The refs have bailed Coach K and Duke out almost every time things would get dicey. It is hard to blow it when the refs give you all the breaks.     He just like most people want the refs and the leagues to clean up the game. Once they do that it will be a much better product. Two hour games, freedom of movement, better flow, more action and more enjoyable for players and fans.
