    I don’t like Oats for sure but Alabama had no choice. There was a federal judge’s order prohibiting the school or the NCAA from taking any action against the player. And BTW. The judge was an Alabama booster.

    I don’t think Congress is any hurry to fix this especially since it is an election year. However if they get the exemption there are a number of things the NCAA could implement. One biggie would allow a player to transfer once and that’s it. That would help with all the portal moves every year.

    The NCAA is looking to Congress to give them an anti trust exemption so they can enforce rules. Right now the players have the upper hand.

    The NCAA has no legal authority to deny anyone from playing. That’s why they have been looking to Congress to allow them to enforce rules. The members schools just voluntarily accepted their rules. Then the lawsuits started and opened the flood gates.

    It was clear after the Bellarmine game that he doesn’t have the explosiveness that made him such a force. I am guessing that he will come. Just not this season. The best thing for everyone is to accept that it’s was a gamble that didn’t pay off. Not anyone's fault. I am sure the training staff...
