    Gosh Duke is so good

    I mean to be fair St. John’s did nothing but shoot 3s all game while Duke lived underneath the basket. The game wouldn’t even be close if they shot their season average of 33%. They hit like 13 3s at a near 50% clip. Thats insane.

    Agreed. Cal is a great recruiter, great coach, and is one of the few guys still left who were part of the K, Roy, Jay Wright, Bennett and all those other coaches who have now retired. It’s him, Izzo, a few others and self who is likely on the way out. He was a hell of a coach in his prime here...

    Duke friend of mine (yes they exist. He’s been there for me during dark times when no one else was) told me he hopes unc continues to suck but won’t be mad if they get a good coach because of the rivalry. His metric for Carolina being back as a program is when he can name all five starters.

    Dumb comment. Teams can always get hot from deep or be matchup nightmares. Duke almost lost because sienna turned on god mode from 3. Sienna could hang with any team that day.

    We have ZERO (0) recruits next year. If we sign stokes it’s only because we blew half our NIL budget to get him. I’ll be happy we got a top guy but don’t act like whiffing on Collins and every other recruit will be made up if we sign stokes.

    Exactly. While having a fiery coach is great, he got them way too pumped for us and talked so much crap that his players basically thought they won the whole thing. Didn’t seem like the focus was more of beating Kentucky than winning the tournament.
