    No extremely atypical. The draft has the lowest number of non-senior entries in 20+ years thanks to NIL making it very lucrative for kids who aren’t guaranteed first rounders to stay in college as long as possible.

    There will be a lot of mediocre coaches pointing to a tourney berth as the 72nd team in (and the 44th out of 45 at large teams) as evidence that they deserve a contract extension or to keep their job.
