    The kid had the 2nd worse +/- on the team at -7.5 for the season.. The only one worse was JQ and he barely played on a recovering ACL. Say what you want about leadership but the fact is that JJ just did not produce.

    I don't get where people say Pope was a "safe" hire. I think it was the opposite. It was a risky hire and may be a terrible one, in the end. What I think it was, is an "easy" hire. No chance he'd say no and it got the monkey off Mitch's back.
