    I never understood the pre-season media hype about this year's squad. Don't see many difference makers and the transfers were meh. 2024 was the year and they just didn't get it done, which of course is Franklin's legacy in more ways than one.

    Back in the mid-80s when I was graduating HS, PSU main campus acceptance rates were very selective. I recall being at the level of UC Berkeley. No idea what it's like now (spent most of my adult life in WA state) but back then it was a pretty big deal to get into main if you weren't a legacy.

    Joe was too old to understand the issues and the risk to the school and program. That's why we shouldn't have an 80 year old running the program. Hell, we shouldn't have had a 70 year old running the program. In the end, JoePa did as much bad as good to the program.
