If you look at the numbers, that's like saying a top 10 team (a 2-seed) with decades of tourney experience should be able to beat an uranked team (7-seed)...

    I loaded my old 2K14 roster just to check something out, and here is what I found: UNC's created team and Duke's created team both have the same offensive and defensive team rating (even though it wasn't like that in real life).
