It's a marathon, not a sprint. I'm hopeful the Cards will settle in. The performance so far doesn't even remotely come close to the pre-season hype.

Not much of a roster watcher during the off season, but I really like our "core four." Alicea, Davis, Rose, and Moore. Hard to believe it's game week. Beat Sparty.
Duke is -8.5 tonight. The line opened Duke -6.5. The gambling community likes the Blue Devils. ESPN's Matchup Predictor has Duke at 77%. Obviously, this is going to be a tough one. Need the shots to fall (Mr. Obvious Alert.)
Va Tech has some nice players. We could use a guy like Lawal. It wasn't always pretty, but that's a good win. Cards are a different team with Brown, I don't care how many times he dribbles the ball off his foot.
The reaction I’m seeing has been positive. I’m not sold. But, it is guys like him who get fired by a head coach when things start going south. Smart move on his part.
