    Vitello Gone.

    I’m holding my celebration on this for fear that this goes the way of Saban and the Dolphins right about the time Dave Van Horn and Mike Bianco are getting ready to retire…. And then we have Tony back in the fold at a far more annoying spot for us.

    Our linebackers are decent, IMO. We’ve had much better LB rooms but several of those guys are quality players.

    I mean Tennessee was an awful program pre-Vitello. Had not made the NCAAT in over a decade. He built them from scratch. Pro ball certainly different though, I agree on that.

    Reading between the lines, it feels like a Creed Whittemore situation. Will be floored if he’s not in the portal at the end of year. I agree with you that he’s a solid back. Seems like maybe he wasn’t fond of wasting his final year as a third string RB.
