    years ago Sports Illustrated had an article on exactly this happening. It was published around the time of the first SEC expansion and had a map of the future major college conferences. I've tried to find that article for years and have had no luck, but they were pretty much dead on.

    had a complete stranger say "Hail State!" to me.............

    I still say "Who let them 'dawgs out?" Its sort of a sentimental reminder of my favorite MSU squad ever - the 1999 team. Plus, i just can't stand Hail State, and I will not greet anyone with it. Unless Jackie walks up to me and says, "Hail State, son." Then i probably will cave in at that point.

    Man, I was a soph. at $tate and attended that game. Remains one of my all time favorite MSU memories as a student. We went 5-6 and lost the Egg Bowl in '89, but that was an awesome atmosphere at the rock that night.

    It was ALL GOOD at ALLGOOD'S .... cheesesticks and double cheeseburger about 1 a.m. on Thursday nights after a trip to the Landing was some good.
