Some of it’s magic, some of it’s tragic, but I’ve had a good life all the way.
I’m not a huge Parrothead but his set at JazzFest after Katrina was like church. IIRC, he ended with “Biloxi” as the sun set over New Orleans.
We have an office outside of Seattle with quite a few Wazzu alums. I’ve been looking forward to State’s trip out there in a few years. Looks like it may no longer count as a P5 game by then. I always thought Iowa State was the P5 school most likely to be left out at some point. But Wazzu and...
The Experience Music Project was one of the coolest museums I’ve ever been to. Its been renamed the museum of pop culture, not sure if the experience has changed.
Mariners game - best food at any stadium I’ve visited.

Whatever their faults, they support some great baseball unis. I’m not giving them complete credit since these are just modern versions of great unis from years past, but this game just looks like baseball.
History of the Bible. Fascinating to read it from an historical/non religious perspective. Made my personal religious perspective a lot better informed. Also was taught in Cobb. Never had a reason to go in that building otherwise.

NFL has a one helmet rule for the season for “safety” purposes. So unless they repaint them all and paint them back, they can’t really change helmets. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-rescinds-one-helmet-rule-here-are-nine-classic-throwback-uniforms-that-could-return-under-new-policy/amp/
The darker “old gold” was the original color. Lightened around the turn of the century (man we’re getting old). The color rush is also sort of a throw back and so it also brings that old, darker gold back (but they didn’t change the helmet color which is why the helmets don’t match the gold...
Man, I love this current configuration of our stadium. I don’t love the south end zone but the other 75% is perfect. I just wish the “stock” camera they use at games when going to breaks and such was in the south end zone pointing north, rather than in the north(west) corner pointing south. I...
