    What was your favorite Penn State road trip or Bowl game you attended?

    I went to every game, home and away, in 2012. Already had it planned out before the sanctions and then went with it. I've been to all of the major bowls since, Indy, and Dublin but beating the absolute hell out of Iowa that season was super satisfying.

    I'm willing to gamble becoming worse to get better. This purgatory ain't it. The program peaked under Franklin when we were up 21-3 in Columbus over 4 years ago. We have been backsliding ever since.

    Sad to see Mad Mex go but this is really adding to the dearth of hotel rooms downtown. It's so depressing every time I go back and more high rises have sprung up.

    Vegas. Guaranteed Rate Bowl would be fine too if we're slipping to these types of games.

    Unless BOB has completely changed his feelings towards recruiting there's zero chance he's taking a job with literally no natural recruiting territory that will involve selling two decades of mediocrity across the country.

    I'm in my early 30's. I was a freshman during the 2008 season. Sadly that's probably the closest we might come (f'in Iowa) but I remain hopeful. Clemson fans probably had this same discussion about the 1980 title not long ago. Just never know.

    11/13 vs. Michigan is a "helmet stripe game"

    There's a big storm supposed to be rolling through. I'm sure this will go well. One whiteout per season is plenty. Do a student whiteout, like originally planned. All of this stripe out, helmet stripe, etc. is going to kill an awesome tradition.

    Plus it's hard to count on the Pac-12 school delivering a crowd.
