No shame for Plott losing to Griffith who is redshirting at Stanford and beat Chandler Rogers at the Scuffle. Rogers got hurt in that match and defaulted but Griffith was ahead at the time. Also, Griffith was a 3 time NJ state champ. NJ has only one classification.

    weekend duals

It was reported on another thread that Coach Smith was undecided on the 197 spot. Well, after watching White in these 2 matches Weigel should definitely own the nod. White did not make one legit takedown attempt in either and in his last 10 matches his highest score is 4 (all escapes).

    Bedlam updates

Nice team effort. Schafer looks so much better at Hwt. If Rogers can't work his funky stuff he's in big trouble versus a solid wrestler.

Now we'll have a debate about MFF vs. injury default.

    PSU-illinois

Main take away from this match, DO NOT ROLL AROUND ON THE MAT with PSU. They do not overpower the opponent. It's all about positioning.

Not really. Going by the rankings the only upset was a slight one, Houdashelt over Sorensen.

2/6 Dual Comparison: Oklahoma State vs Wyoming

Re: Wyoming at Oklahoma State Except for GWH and Alex that was a pitiful performance for this far into the season. Maybe that would be ok for Nov. but no way for Feb. OU isn't very good but stuff like that could be a loss in Norman.

    RTOC (Sunday)

GWH should be starting over Crutchmer. He'll take his lumps but he has an upside. Crutchmer tries hard but he simply is not competitive. I thought Garcia might be a factor at 33 based on his true Fr. year at OU. How was his match going when he defaulted? He did beat the wrestler who ended...

What's up with Marstellar? This would be the second straight event he's missed.

    Next Year

Schafer lost in the RTOC finals to Wellington of Ohio who was seeded 8th at nationals and went 1-2. His best wins were probably Woods of Wyoming and Johnson (redshirting) of OU.
