    Seriously they did but it was actually stated that Rutherford County didn’t want to be with us and Shelby. 🤣 The committee first thought they meant they wanted the 4A schools out (Burns, Cramer and East Gaston). I listened to the decision.

    So I could see Burns, Crest and Shelby all in a split conference.

    No it was the second incarnation of the SMAC 2A/3A with Rutherford County, East Burke and Draughn. Cam was quarterback the last three years of that conference.
