    Many of these names are in the distant past and I would agree with the list but at the same time we seem to romanticize the past.     Geez man. Just two days ago I read on this very message board that the LSU players’ parents at Hoover said Ace to LSU was a done deal. If you can’t trust a random message board post citing another team’s parent’s as a source I don’t who you can trust. What a world we are living in today.

    Honestly, I would support hiring Jake Magnum as our baseball coach today. He has all the tools to be successful in that position. Yes, he loves Mississippi State with all his heart but that is not the reason he would make a good coach. He is smart, tough, and relentless and above all he is a winner.
