    ESPN is not “obligated” to show tennis over baseball. The SEC’s media rights deal with ESPN gives ESPN/SEC Network the right to choose what they air. They prioritize based on viewership potential ect- not some contractual mandate that forces them to air tennis championships over baseball games...

    Women’s college basketball is more popular now and has a clear advantage in national TV appeal. I couldn’t even tune into our game today. So I watched us play tennis on the SEC network. Even our tennis today was more popular than our baseball game.

    Of the 12 players on court today, only 1 of them is from the United States. American college football players paying for the development of foreign tennis players makes no sense. Should be a foreign cap on all non revenue sports by the NCAA. Junior colleges in MS are headed this way too...
