UNC Coming to RUPP! (ACC/SEC Challenge)

Those are about the only ones that I am interested in. Might throw in NCSU vs. Auburn.

UK and Florida will play twice next season

I started to respond, but then I remembered who you are. You’re not worth arguing with.

UK and Florida will play twice next season

If JQ is healthy, I’d rather have him than Fland. But UF needed a star guard while we needed a presence inside. If both play up to their potential, both teams got exactly what they needed.

Metcalfe thinks UK has the best transfer class fwiw

I have no problem with ranking St. John’s transfer class ahead of us. I like our balance better than probably anyone’s in the country. Returning: Oweh- starter, leading scorer, All-SEC, potential SEC POY. Garrison- key reserve last season, SEC and Big 12 experience, former P5 conference...

UK and Florida will play twice next season

On paper: Starters G Lowe > Lee- I think Lee is a tad bit overrated, and Lowe is underrated. Two years in the ACC is better experience than three in the Ivy League. G Aberdeen > Fland- experience (3 years in the SEC vs. a few games in the SEC) trumps potential. Also Aberdeen is bigger and...

Now I understand the Big East Love

UConn should just drop football and be like the other Big East schools. The Big East also should try to convince Duke to leave the ACC and drop their football program as well. I think Duke is a much better fit as a Big East school (being private and basketball driven) than an ACC school.

    ChatGPT's prediction for next season

Looks exactly like what most of us have been saying. Barring injuries, another Sweet Sixteen seems likely, an Elite Eight is highly possible, a Final Four is attainable, and once you get to a Final Four, a title is in reach. And like OldEvilleCat said, this is pretty much our realistic...

Now I understand the Big East Love

People are looking at UConn as the Big East example, but they are the exception because they actually have football. They would not gain an advantage, even if there was one. What about schools like St. John’s and Georgetown, where basketball is the main sport because they don’t have a...

    Mohamed Dabone

That’s just unreal to me. I know it happens, but just wow. My son has always been the tallest or one of the tallest in his class. Right now there are just a couple in the entire middle school taller than him. And all of them are hovering around that 6’0 mark right now. A kid 3-4 years...

Would someone plz evaluate how the other SEC teams did in the offseason?

I’m curious to see how they handle their rotation. The three spot in particular. If they put their best five out there, it’s got to be Haugh at the 3. But they really played well last season with the three guards. Might be better playing Lee, Fland, and Brown together in the backcourt...

    Mohamed Dabone

My son is 5’10-ish and is 13. He’s one of the tallest kids in his middle school. Hard to imagine a kid the same age being a foot taller, but it is possible, I guess.

Would someone plz evaluate how the other SEC teams did in the offseason?

Florida lost all that talent, but will still finish in the top 4 in the league because of their dominant frontcourt and an incredible coach. They are still a top 10 team nationally. I expect them to be good, I’m just not seeing them being Final Four/Championship good without Clayton and...

Would someone plz evaluate how the other SEC teams did in the offseason?

Auburn has Pearl, who has been getting the job done for a long time for them, but he has one rotation guy back (Pettiford), so a brand new team replacing an army of Seniors. They should be no better than the middle of the pack in the SEC, but with Pearl at the helm, they will probably finish in...

Now I understand the Big East Love

All this stuff is so hard to figure out. You need a law degree to understand any of it. And some posters saying the Big East will have an advantage, while others argue they won’t. Somebody give me the bottom line: Will Big East basketball have a decided advantage over everyone else or not...

Would someone plz evaluate how the other SEC teams did in the offseason?

That will help y’all. Cal likes a 4-man rotation at the 4/5.
