Ok, which one of y'all messing with a father who's just trying to be a good dad?

I feel for the guy. I had to bust up in a women's room 1 time when my kids were toddlers. Daughter was maybe 3 and had to GO. Little baby bro had unleashed an explosion that was leaking out from all directions. Men's room occupado, women's empty and thank god had a changing table. Had to get...

Some of y'all need to go read the legendary Ryan's bathroom story and have a good laugh.

OT: B-52 crashed at Edwards AFB

I grew up in the flight path for Dobbins AFB/Lockheed - GA when they were refitting the C-5's in the early 80's. Different kind of monster, but I always had the same thought about how could something that big fly.

What is Mississippi State's greatest on-field accomplishment under Zach Selmon?

How can anyone rank Scott Stricklin as "Strong Foundation" for basketball? Left to his own devises the man hired RICK RAY. And no, hiring Vic does not negate that hire. Nor does being gifted Ben Howland by Adidas.

OT: Fox & Friends Steve Doocey visits Huntsville

They were about 5 miles from my house this morning, giving away an RV on Jekyll Island.

OT: Whiskey Myers and the Black Crowes

Miller was ZZ's tour sponsor. Chris came out on stage and said something along the lines of "We ain't got no corporate sponsors, we're just f'n rock and roll". They'd been doing it all tour and Miller had enough and decided to boot them in their home town just to try and embarrass them. Some...

OT: Whiskey Myers and the Black Crowes

That's still one of my favorite concerts of all time. Also saw them the night they got kicked off the ZZ Top tour in Atlanta.

Assuming we make it to Athens for the Super but lose...

Except that's not how sports work at all. Especially baseball. Time again we see teams invest big money in rosters and just be terrible. The NY Mets have the 2nd largest payroll in MLB at $369 million and are 22-32, in last place in the NL East 14 games behind the Braves. The NY Yankees had...

    RPI…

Or, and I know this is a radical theory, win 1 game against either UGA, TN or Arkansas, or beat USM in Hatty. Because Q1 and Q2 wins or loses have greater impact on our RPI than Q4 wins. But, that's just me.

Why do we continue to schedule non-con baseball as if the opponent doesn't matter?

I'd guess that it is not easy. I do know that mid-week games are dictated by the schedules and regional travel of the other other conferences. We have to catch a SunBelt/AAC/SoCon/SWAC team passing through on the way to play a weekend series, or one on the way to one of our series. That...

Why do we continue to schedule non-con baseball as if the opponent doesn't matter?

The Guv Cup does not count as an SEC game - so it counts as part of our non-conf RPI, just like USM

Why do we continue to schedule non-con baseball as if the opponent doesn't matter?

That's probably more on them then it is on us. I honestly didn't realize that we went from 1998 to 2021 without playing them.

Why do we continue to schedule non-con baseball as if the opponent doesn't matter?

This is a thread full of ridiculousness. Our OOC RPI is 13. We have the 4th best OOC RPI in the SEC. We played the #1 RPI team in the country in our non-con games. We play OM and USM as non-con teams annually who almost always are Q1 RPIs. We played Tulane (which Patdog has already forgotten)...

    State 1878 announced…

UGA started one in February - ours is identical: https://gloryglorygeorgia.com/ I happened to be in Athens the day after it started and went to a Magill Society event with a friend who is a a big UGA donor. The head of their Bulldog Club said they had about 2,500 sign up the first day, and it...
