It's the hitting guys! Yeah, the bullpen stinks, but, after the first 4 hitters, it's a crapshoot. We need big finishes from both Bohm and Stott. Whatever we get from Marsh, JT (guy is playing on fumes!), and Crawford are miracles. Hill and Sosa may need to play more.

You could see the WR had total control of that ball, and the ground was no factor. And when he rolled over, that ball never moved. Sorry sluggo.

He looked slow and lost at times.

I also thought the OL had a rough game. Barkley rarely had anywhere to run. I also thought the play-calling was questionable at times. When it's 2nd and 10-12, you don't run sideways plays. Overall, to me, Hurts had a pretty decent game. His running was HUGE!

Another strong outing from Painter! Fantastic! Getting great starts from Nola and Painter down the stretch is pivotal! GREAT road trip!

IMO, no counting our Big 3 starters (Sanchez/Wheeler/Luzardo), I want to give BIG KUDO's for the turnarounds of both Nola and Painter the last couple of weeks! Our starting rotation has become one of the top 3-4 in MLB! Wow, what a difference.

What were the five best/most exciting games at Beaver Stadium?

About that '99 Arizona game...............I was there, it was the first game, and the weather was STINKIN' HOT! What was Zona, top 5 if I recall? Well, it was downright domination by PSU. I think it ended up around 40-Zip! Correct me if I'm wrong.

Kaytron Allen 23 carries for 85 yards for the Commanders tonight.

My response to that would have been "it's not about the ball, but the legs/condition of the runner."

Kaytron Allen 23 carries for 85 yards for the Commanders tonight.

When I first read he carried the ball 23 freakin' times, I couldn't believe it for a pre-season game, let alone the FIRST ONE! The guy has to be feeling some "aches" this morning.

I'll say it..............KUDO'S to Aaron Nola for his strong pitching in the last 4 games, when we, the fans, were bitching about having no #4 or #5 SP's! He will be key (along with the current Painter performance's) going down the stretch.

Spikerman is an outfielder, #28 in our top 30. Gabrysh wasn't listed.

I could take that. Look for something now obtaining a SP. Like I posted last evening, SP Dustin May and OF Lars Nootbaar are still out there.

Raley is having a very good year for the Mets. The caveat is he's 38 years old. I don't see the Phillies giving up very much for him.

We gave up a very good young pitcher here. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/08/phillies-acquire-luis-arraez.html
