    Another thing, too, is we were getting a lot of fuller crowds when the team was near the top-10... early big losses (and bad ones early in ACC) dropped us out of rankings and our ascent back up the rankings was very slow.

    UNC Softball 2025-2026

    Something has to change... we only lose KRD this offseason and we have 8 pitchers on our staff. I'm not sure if Holub is able to manage 8 arms - that's so much to ask. But I am starting to wonder if Holub is the right pitching coach for us. The pitchers don't seem to be "competitively ready"...
