    Linden 70 The Patrick School 57

    I heard that Maryland offered him last week. Was voted Top Ten player in the State as a Sophomore, Top 5 as a Jr., and now could be NJ Player of The Year. As an LHS grad, myself, have seen many good/great Tiger players, but he may be in a class by himself.

    THE LEGEND'S CLUB (re Dean Smith, Krzyzewski and Jimmy V.), by John Feinstein. Great insights and stories - significant RU stuff when Jimmy V played and later coached the Freshman. Tear-jerking stories regarding his illness and epic ESPY presentation.

    Thanks Veiox! Been waiting for the re-stock. Will jump right on it. Can't find a better deal for the quality of this ball. Was able to get 4 dozen online back in December after the initial hoopla in the stores.

    2018 Recruiting

    From what I'm reading, Tavon Jones sounds an awful lot like Corey Sanders (Knight 1212 ?) - very athletic, terrific scorer - but not necessarily a great shooter, rebounds, plays D, makes others around him better...sounds like the quintessential point guard, no?

    I too am a "coffeeholic". I'm surprised to hear the negativity toward Starbucks. Ever since I went to their bolder blends I've become an even bigger fan, particularly their Verona, Casi Cielo, and during the holidays, Christmas Blend. When I buy their whole beans, I typically grind them...

    Plum, I too am a Linden grad (currently living out of state) but try to get back at least once a year to take in a game. Not sure what you mean by "blight" or "down the tubes", but I have noticed very little difference over the past 5 or 10 years, and that includes walking from the train...
