    I donā€™t think anyone would suggest that rank and file republicans arenā€™t pro veteran. That said, when the undisputed ā€œleaderā€ of the party shows contempt for war heroes, wounded vets, and gold star families (which he has on many well documented occasions), it certainly clouds the issue for many.
