That would be Hayesville. 2 guys at the McDonalds line told me it the greatest JH team in the history of the SMC. Maybe they were just pulling my leg idk.

Interesting, I heard nobody scored on their starters all year.

Robbinsville score a bunch in mop up time? Don’t think Hayesville gave up that many points all year.

    Football SMC 2026

With soccer, travel baseball and parents against football, I am afraid we are in the death phase of rural football. Just not enough bodies to do everything at smaller schools.

Robbinsville is greatly benefiting from the new alignment for sports.

Tarboro Holding Up The East All Alone

Well they are basically center of the state and don’t count for either side.

    SMC Basketball

Well all those games were played before Robbinsville added the foreigners that have been dunking all over everyone they have played so far.

    Way too early 2026 Preview

Might as well get use to it. Unless there is a major shift in population to push Tarboro’s adm up, they will be in the state championship long after we are gone. No team in the east can match the athletes and coaching in the east and it’s a rare occasion for the west team to have the athlete...

    Way too early 2026 Preview

East: Tarboro - If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. West: Starmount - if they don’t have their nose stuck up to much to play on a grass field deep in the playoffs.

FINALLY…Tarboro vs. Murphy for the ship…who ya got?

Observer seems to think otherwise. He’s been yelling fairly loudly for the sophomore since he was in 1st grade.

FINALLY…Tarboro vs. Murphy for the ship…who ya got?

For sure be interesting matchups. Tarboro would have the speed and talent to keep up. Be some growing pains in the secondary but a little time and that would be shored up to make some great games.

Not sure what’s more impressive, Tarboro’s football program or you remember a smart a** comment from 2023 lol

Football Black knights vs Wilson Prep

I wouldn’t worry with 1a right now. You have enough to worry about with Shelby and trying to train your corners on covering the pass.

Football Black knights vs Wilson Prep

Well just call em like I see em. Robbinsville should have won that game by 3 or 4 scores. Didn’t look like the normal robbinsville team with all the snap penalties, limping around, etc. Looking a little soft in the belly.

Football Black knights vs Wilson Prep

Expected more toughest from Robbinsville and so called mtn ball. Too much limping around for my liking. All those playoff blowouts didn’t do them any favors.
