I thought Pope's offense would have created more open twos near the rim (back cuts, lost defenders, etc) but I just have not seen that this year so far. Was wanting to rely on that to take and hold leads and open up the perimeter. Nothing we did last night opened up the perimeter except broken...
Bilas's whole schtick is cover something less than the obvious unless it's ice cream at Rupp. Then he can't stop talking about it. That's why he focused Knueppel when everyone else was covering on Flagg.

I saw it. It was odd and then made you take accounting of the bonus for Duke, which made it ever more dubious. The fouls could have been anywhere in the game but the refs got whistle happy real quick and I never saw it called that tight again. MSU only got the benefit of obvious shirt pulls...
