Same. The energy they play with on defense, boards, and loose balls is something I had hoped Pope would bring to the team this year. Maybe was personnel, maybe it was injuries but I’d like to see that type of fight going forward.
Sure I agree but the hysteria on this board I was referring to was about Butlers shooting percentages. Heck even some posters didn’t think he was even gonna start because of it. There was a lot of Butler doubters on here for sure.
It’s just a prediction. Is it really that far fetched? Been plenty of games over the years UK wasn’t allowed to defend. Call the game real tight on one end and real loose on the other. The aggressive team backs off.
Houston wont be allowed to defend against Duke. Duke advances. Auburn beats UF and then plays their street ball against Duke and gets cooked.
Duke wins title. Cooper Flagg better freshman than AD the new ESPN talking point. Prepare accordingly.
Great decision. He’s never gonna be a pro but he can be a UK legend with a 4yr career and be set for life with whatever he wants to do in the bluegrass after school.
Possibly. The problem with both those guys is they are spot up shooters. The whole team really although Brea prob the most improved with creating and he was locked down.
Whatever happened in the past was basically irrelevant to yesterday’s game besides giving UT motivation to not lose 3 in a row.
Got beat all night staying in front of their man, on the boards, and to 50/50 balls.
All effort and hustle stuff. Just wasn’t there for whatever reason. If they had played with the effort that they showed the last minute and half of the game could’ve looked way differently.
