Duke Football is going to be on national TV a lot this year.
@ Notre Dame (September 24th, 3:30 PM): NBC
@ Louisville (October 14th, 7 PM): ESPN
@ UNC (November 10th, 7:30 PM): ESPN
Here's hoping we can represent well in these games!!
If that's the starting 5 that Ol' Roy rolls out there, expect an epic beatdown in both games. Unless Isaiah Hicks miraculously developed a 3 point shot this summer, I would expect Jackson to slide into SF and for Bradley to come off the bench to start.
The Cavs just beat GS and adding another beta player in Durant isn't going to help them fix the 4 areas which hurt them the most in the series: rebounding, rim protection, post offense and toughness.
Bron and TT are going to eat these soft Warriors up again on the inside in the Finals next year.
According to advanced stats, Briscoe had a TOV% of 15.5% on much lower usage compared to Tyler Ulis at 11.4% and Grayson Allen at 10.2%. Briscoe was not a good ball handler last year.

What other schools are recruiting this guy? Is Harvard still in the mix?
Again, its tough for me to agree that UK will for sure be an elite defensive team when they"ll be giving 3-4 freshmen heavy minutes and its common knowledge that freshmen tend to struggle more defensively than offensively at the collegiate level due to the superior athletic competition.
As for...
You do realize why Allen wasn't great defensively last year right? We lost Cook, Okafor, Winslow and Tyus to either graduation or to the draft and then we lost Jefferson to injury early on in the year.
Grayson had to pretty much carry the entire load offensively so he had defensive lapses at...
As long as its legal and they're successful that's all that matters.
I wouldn't mind if Duke started utilizing the same defensive tactics if the refs aren't going to officiate properly.
I said Duke's defense be between #20 and #40 when it's all said and done. I hope its as good as my fellow Duke fan The Dude1 thinks it will be though!
Duke will almost definitely not start 4 freshmen and I'm not even convinced we"ll start 3 freshmen to be honest.
I predict our starting 5 at...

Hill hit 11/19 3s in the playoffs this year and is a prime example of the type of 3 and D players that the modern NBA loves.
Solomon Hill should fit in nicely as the starting SF in NOLA.
I disagree with this on the Duke end since Giles is thought to have the potential to be an excellent defender. He's got elite wingspan, is a menace at blocking shots, and has shown the ability to defend guards on the perimeter and the pick and roll. Tatum also has excellent size for his position...
