    West was really good in 2019 and 2021 Covid Season. North has its best team in probably 30 years. So I think you may have it backwards. West did lose its coach in May. He went back to college football coaching. He left a good group of seniors but all of them are on offense. We are horrible...

    Guess I was wrong. Heard today he's headed to a college in South Carolina as an Assistant. Good for him. Could see BH progressing to a HC at that level soon. Sharp football mind and excellent program promoter. We are excited about the future. West has had about 85 guys at summer workouts...

    West Brunswick should have been the Pirates or Sharks. The old Shallotte HS was the Pirates but when consolidation came with it ,Waccamaw, and Union....they went with Trojans and a color none of the other 3 schools wore.
