    Everything is a spectacle. Very little substance (without digging for it), and that’s been a societal trend for many years now. Not a surprise, either.

    I would agree with that. I am conservative in my views but believe mainstream music of the mid-60s and early 70s is the best over the last 60 years in terms of quality (originality, sophistication, etc. — as I mentioned previously ITT). Heck, my avatar gives that away…. For debate, though...
