    The MSU administration did not know the scope of the allegations. Per Title IX rules, the details of an open investigation are not revealed to the accused’s bosses. So, unlike NU administration (a bunch of 🤡), MSU’s admin actually did not learn about this until it was leaked to the press.

    I agree with this if his buyout is unchanged, but as far as I know that info isn’t public yet, right? Also what’s the incentive for Lovie to sign an extension that doesn’t change any of the terms of his contract if he really thinks he’s making progress and the team will be better next year...

    Interesting point, but I think that has more to do with the other teams around the country than NU. There are some good teams right now at 1-8, maybe 1-10 but after that it’s a mess. For example, Syracuse was ranked #12 despite being 7-2 with just one win over an opponent with a winning record...
