Sorry to say this but ...

Any of those teams would wax our current squad.

    Do you still Support Pope?

This is 100% the path we all took when it was announced, I think. I really wanted this to work because Pope is a great ambassador and person that loves the university but sometimes things just.... don't. He'll have a nice nice egg when its over but I feel terrible for the guy. It has to be...

    Do you still Support Pope?

I wasn't impressed with the Pope hire at all but was willing to give him a chance and a short leash. I was over the hire two games ago. Unfortunate it didn't work out but dude has to go.

    Perspective to consider

I’ll pass on the bet. You might want to save that money for all the juice boxes and crayons you'll be buying because you’re going to need plenty with all the whining toddlers in this fanbase. I even overheard Dan Issel, Louie Dampier, and Jamal Mashburn crying about how awful Pope has been at...

    Perspective to consider

If wanting a competent product from the most storied program in college basketball makes me a “whiny toddler,” then hand me a juice box. Because nobody wanted Pope to begin with. His résume was bargain-bin with a mediocre win percentage, two tournament trips in a decade, and zero proof he could...

Why? That number came from Ben Roberts of the LHL and we have former players (Mashburn) using that figure and not giving it a second thought. The product on the court doesn't look like 22 million but it isn't that hard to believe. If nothing else, I'd wager it is in the ball park.

    Perspective to consider

Rebuilding isn’t a slow, developmental process anymore. With the portal and NIL, plus years of Calipari proving you can overhaul a roster every season with freshman talent, the landscape has completely changed. The truth is Pope hasn’t shown he can recruit, his coaching is questionable, and he’s...

    Dusty May

They got the Gillispie days with less talent. From a recruiting standpoint, it’s really not close. Gillispie brought in pieces like Daniel Orton, Patrick Patterson, Darius Miller, DeAndre Liggins, Josh Harrellson, Alex Legion, and A.J. Stewart. A lot of the guys he landed ended up being...

Who’s joining me on the Duke…

Facts. Arkansas and Cal are just a temporary headache because they’ve got our ex-coach and that’s the only reason anyone cares right now. It’ll fade fast. And my disdain for the teams that actually matter will always dwarf any short-term irritation like Arky.

Kentucky alumni dominating in the NBA: #2, #3 in scoring; #1 in steals; #3 in rebounds; #3 in three-pointers made.

After reading some of their comments and replies, I genuinely can’t tell if they’re a middle-schooler or just a painfully uneducated adult.

What are you even talking about? Hate to break it to you, but nobody is hopping on a Kentucky bandwagon in 2025. I’ve been on this board since the BCG era... I just read more than I post. And yeah, I didn’t attend UK. Neither did a big portion of this fanbase, and that’s never stopped any of us...

Yep. Most of these guys played for Calipari University, not the University of Kentucky. Which is exactly why Coach Cal was trying to sell the Calipari University nonsense when he got to Arky.

    Cal's NBA asking price: 10yr $120 million

Cal drives a hard bargain. I just can't see him leaving next years class, however.
