Just don’t see any of this working out, the kind of kids that are content playing 5mpg or less we don’t have. The transfers left previous schools playing 15mpg+ so they won’t stick around playing way less. Top freshmen like Jasper and Moreno you have to play them or lose them they aren’t waiting...
I’m sure he wants a college basketball career to look back on. If we have 3 or so who don’t get the minutes they think they should this year they will be gone next season also. It’s happening everywhere with the portal and players backing out of commitments. Expanded roster size will make it...
I can see this working out for the most part except for Moreno. Nobody in the Mcd’s game is going to a school to be 3rd string at 3-5mpg like some fans think.
And he wasn’t expected to get much playing time if any. In our minutes post people have Moreno pencilled in for 3mpg or not at all and he’s a mcd all American.
You have to pay guys and play them or they will find a better opportunity the next year. Anyone other than Perry/Noah will not be happy with 5-8 mpg. We will have probably at minimum 11 guys trying to make it to the nba and no matter what u pay them they aren’t gonna stick around and jeopardize...
He’s not projected and that’s why he needs this, to find out what he needs to show so that he’s guaranteed next year. Crazy to think he could be even better when he carried us quite a few games
If coach continues producing he will have all that he needs I truly believe that. Cal just wore people out failing over and over so a lot of it dried up. Any school that keeps underperforming and has issues with their coach will result in the same thing. Hubert is the one that comes to mind, he...
It’s also why coach contacts so many players. Meeting the agents is just as important because they may have great players in the future. Rolodex and relationships with those guys will pay off at some point.
I don’t think Indiana will rise this year quite as well as UK and Louisville did in one season. I do feel like they finally made a good choice though but may take a few years to compete with the top of the big ten.
