Blue pants with white stripes in practice photos

The most dominant football program in this century, named Alabama has never and will never wear alternate uniforms. Tradition matters. Penn State‘s brand is partially attributed to the iconic blue and white uniform. No need to mess with it for yet another ridiculous gimmick.

    2027 Recruiting Thread

It’s all subjective. If you have yet to do so, I recommend you watch the highlight videos of both players. In my opinion, Segarra is a much better RB than Rogers.

    OT: Your best celebrity encounters?

In 2005 at the Maxwell Awards Ceremony in Atlantic City, I met Coach Dick Vermeil on the elevator. Vermeil was very kind and allowed me to have a photo taken with him. Vermeil was in his early 70s at that time. He nearly crushed my hand with his powerful handshake. A truly wonderful and...

It’s official: Kashif Moore is the new Penn State football wide receivers coach

It has nothing to do with a bloated bureaucracy. As someone who has worked in Corporate America for 38 years, it is standard practice to conduct basic onboarding tasks for any new employee. For example, background checks by 3rd parties take time. There are legal and human resource activities...

Reclassing? Reclassifying? An interesting article in today's Wall Street Journal about parents holding their straight A students back to repeat 8th

This parent strategy is discussed in great detail in Malcolm Gladwell’s classic book named Outliers published in 2008. Gladwell ties in the sport of junior hockey and the importance of the birthday month for each player.

“Source: Cignetti's salary now averages $13.2M through 2033”

Cignetti earned it. Cignetti didn’t use absurd excuses like having a small airport, not enough 5 star players, sub standard facilities, not enough NIL money, lack of football tradition, being located in a cold and drab weather environment, small stadium, etc. Cignetti just went out and did it...

The guy that played Will Riker on Star Trek: The Next Generation went to Penn State???

Actually, this is old news for many of us. I was an avid follower of Commander Will Riker when Star Trek Next Generation was a hot show in the late 1980s.

? What Penn State Player left the program to have better success somewhere else?

I remember him as a freshman. Montgomery had a very strong leg and was known for his booming kickoffs. His career took off once he arrived at Michigan State.

? What Penn State Player left the program to have better success somewhere else?

Greg Montgomery. Transferred to Michigan State and became a first team all-America as a Junior. Also, he was a 3x First Team All-B1G (1985, 1986, 1987) as a punter/kicker. Lastly, Montgomery was a 3rd round draft pick and an NFL All-Pro in 1993. He played 9 years in the NFL.

    Greatest musical artist ever

I don’t think I‘ve seen any musical artist transform the scene globally like Michael Jackson (with the exception of Elvis Presley). They were both giants with global impact.
